If you missed the live taping of The Mom Hour on Heartbeat Radio for Women yesterday, then you can be sure to catch it tomorrow, Sunday, January 16th, at 2pm Eastern Time!
We had a great show during which we spoke to two great Single Moms, each with a very different story of how they came to Singlemommyness. First we spoke with Sandi Trovato, blogger over at And I Ask Myself, How Did I Even Get Here?, as well as contributing editor at Single Minded Women. She talked a little about what she does to nurture the woman inside the single mom, after losing her husband to cancer in 2007, and the role that family and friends have played in helping her to heal.
We also spoke with Pam Metivier, who at 40 years old became a Choice Single Mom. Pam spoke about what she does to ensure that she is enjoying the journey of singlemomhood, and while she does not currently have a website up she is writing a book about her journey to becoming a Choice Single Mom, so as soon as the book is done I will be sure to share how to get it on Your Single Parenting (as well as on here, of course).
So, if you can, listen to the re-broadcast of the show tomorrow, Sunday, January 16th, at 2pm Eastern Time. Feel free to leave feedback in the comments section here. I will be doing more radio shows like these in the future and would love to hear from you as to what you would like to hear!
