I had the good fortune of finding out about Moey's Music Party from my friend over at My Mom Shops. As you know, I have decided to homeschool Theo over the next 2 years and I wanted to be sure I gave him lots of time to socialize with small children, so I took him on Wednesday to one of Moey's classes and he loved it! I wasn't sure he'd like it because sometimes he's a bit reticent at first and it can take him a little while to warm up to new experiences, but he took to Moey and the class almost right away. She is a great songwriter and incorporates letters, shapes and numbers in very danceable songs that encourage everyone to get up and boogie. There's even a song, "Alphabet Soup", that teaches waiting one's turn as they each wait for their chance to stir the Alphabet Soup pot. It was a great experience and I've since decided to make Moey's Music party a part of Theo's homeschooling experience.
If you are in Manhattan and are looking for a fun music class for your toddler or preschooler, you should definitely look into Moey's Music Class. You can pay as you go or save money when you purchase a multi-class pack. For those signing up immediately she has some discounts happening if you join with friends:
If you do decide to check out her classes, let me know; I would love to meet up with you there!
*While Theo was given a free class and I was offered a discount should I purchase a multi-class pack, the opinions expressed here are authentically my own and have not been influenced in any way. Besides, Theo doesn't know the class was free, all he knows is that it was fun.
