Literally. Around the island of Manhattan. I won a giveaway at Ascending Butterfly for a musical night out; a night out on a big, beautiful yacht run by Smooth Jazz New York. My mind is a sieve these days so of course I forgot my camera, but I did get a few almost decent shots with my BlackBerry.

These days I am deeply grateful for the little things, and winning free tickets on a cruise (even if just on a 2-hour cruise around Manhattan), was a sweet surprise. It was a really nice way to spend an evening. The much-needed music, laughter, "girl time", and relaxation felt great! This single mama is a thankful mama.
