I have been swimming upstream for over a month now, what with all of the things that seem to keep coming at me at lightening speed. The good news is that there is finally good news to report: I have been busy the last month getting ready for a move to a much bigger 2 bedroom apartment! Instead of living in a tiny 1 bedroom apartment in which the bathroom is in the bedroom and the kitchen is in the living room, Theo and I have a nice, roomy place. People keep saying how nice it is that Theo has his own room now and I keep saying, "Are ya kidding me? He's had his own room since before he even came home from the Nursery at the hospital - it's me who finally has a room of her own again! I've actually had to get Theo adjusted to the new space - because there's so much of it. He'll come around to our new home in no time though, I'm sure.
I've been sleeping in the Living Room on the futon since I got pregnant because my old bed was a huge loft bed over my home office. I was frightened to climb the ladder up to bed once I got pregnant so I just started sleeping on the futon full-time. Then right before Theo was born, we turned my bedroom into his Nursery. But Mama's got her own place now!!! The coolest thing is my new bedroom set, which has a real mattress - a Sealy. The first night I slept on it I slept through the entire night and I haven't been able to do that since before I got pregnant. And with my back having its recent issues, this new mattress is a wonderful, beautiful thang.
I have to push it against a wall for the mornings that Theo slips into my bed, but for now I don't mind it like that at all. When Theo gets older and sleeping with Mama stops happening then I will put the nightstand between the bed and the wall it is up against.
There's lots of other exciting stuff I've been working on behind the scenes as well, but I'll have to tell you later. Right now I have an insanely busy day which includes, among other things, being interviewed by a celebrity.
Yep, that's right, you read that correctly. Can you believe it??? I told you I was working on some exciting stuff. ;-)

I am glad things are improving. After recently going through some hard times ourselves I know it is very difficult to stay positive.
