Blog Name Change - Single Mama NYC

So, as you probably have noticed, I just changed my blog name from NYC Mama to Single Mama NYC. There's a couple of reasons for this, but the main reason is that there are quite a few single mothers out there that may feel alone in their single mommy world, and sometimes the only community a single mother has is a cyber community. I wanted a blog name that fully reflected that I am not only a New York City Mama but that I am a Single Mama as well. Many of my readers are mothers who are married and/or in relationships with their children's fathers, and I treasure the connections that I have made with these mothers. Two of my absolute favorite Mom Bloggers are Cat over at 4 Nuts in a Nutshell and Unknown Mami, and they are both married Mamas. I'm so grateful for our connection -- as women and as mothers. There are also very many other married moms I have connected with, and I love being able to share each other's worlds. I just wanted to make sure that if there were single mothers out there looking to find someone to connect with, that I'd be there for them.
