I not only have this blog, but I also have a website for single parents (http://www.yoursingleparenting.com/), and a column about Family Events in New York City that I write for the Examiner (http://www.examiner.com/x-3601-NY-Family-Events-Examiner?showbio). Here's my problem: I have to get the word out about all of that a lot more, start getting more viewers for my work (most especially my column and single parenting website), and I don't know how! I've been told that viral marketing plays a huge part in getting your cyber presence out there, but I haven't the foggiest idea what "viral marketing" entails. What sites do I go to do this? What is the best way to get the most number of viewers going to my work -- while also not being too time consuming, because as you can imagine, with the blog, the parenting website, and the column -- oh yeah, and being a single mama to a 19 month old son, I don't have an abundace of time with which to do this viral marketing thing. I need it to be effective and relatively fast. I know I'll have to put some work into it, that's ok, I just can't devote whole days to it.
So, do you have any tips that have gotten you lots of new viewers to your site(s)? Please give me your suggestions and be entered to win a $50 Stop & Shop Gift Card. You can either leave your suggestion in the comment field for this blog entry if you have a link back address, or email me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. If I use your suggestion and find it every bit as wonderful as you said it would be, you will win the $50 Gift Card for groceries at Stop & Shop!
Thanking you in advance for what I know will be wonderfully helpful suggestions!
