I know, I know...

It's been too long since I've blogged. It's just been so darn BUSY around here! Before I go any further about my failings at multi-tasking, I want to share this image with my fellow single moms:










This image of President Obama (I just LOVE writing that now...PRESIDENT Obama!), and his mother -- a single mother -- resonates with me so very deeply. In my head, I call this picture "Single Mothers Can Change The World". And they can. His did.

As for this single mama, I am just busy trying to change MY world. I have pledged to change my life by changing my thoughts. Higher, positive, centered thoughts. Peaceful, loving, happy thoughts. No more focusing on the pain or anger of the past. The past no longer exists. And should pain or anger visit me again in the present, I will remind myself that this too shall pass. I will go forward as I focus on what truly matters. What matters now? My son. My spiritual, physical, and mental well-being. Being a good family member, friend and writer. Laughter, love and joy. That's it. Anything else that doesn't match a higher vibration needs to get lost. Permanently.

Happy New Year all! With the innauguration of our 44th President, it has already proved to be a very Happy New Year indeed!!!
